The Seaside Highland Games is Southern California's premier Scottish festival, transforming the Ventura County Fairgrounds into an immersive Scottish village for a weekend celebration. The event features heavy athletics competitions, bagpiping and drumming, Highland dance, sheep herding demos, three stages of live music, vendor booths, and Celtic food and drink, with dedicated activities for children. Friday night includes a optional whisky tasting and dinner with Scottish music and fashion show. Participants travel from across the western states and Canada to compete and celebrate Scottish heritage and culture.
